Sunday Sunday Sunday

Now, there's a chance that it might not be the best idea in the world for me to be writing this whilst I'm still full of last night's tequila, but there we go. Oof. It can be tough, supporting a football team. Yesterday, Kidderminster Harriers raced into a two goal lead against Stevenage Borough in the FA Trophy final at Wembley, before Stevenage came back to win by three goals to two. The crowd at Wembley, by the way, was 53,000 for the first cup final to be played there. Impressive. Meanwhile, Derby County seized the advantage in the first of the Championship play-offs at Southampton and, at the exact time of writing, Wolves by beaten by West Bromwich Albion at Molineux in the other semi-final earlier this afternoon. This afternoon, the Premiership finally reaches its conclusion. Wigan are still more likely to go down than anyone else, but don't be surprised to see them and Sheffield United doing what they have to do should Manchester United oblige them by thrashing West Ham United at Old Trafford, as they are surely likely to do.

Today, I'm returning briefly to the subject of computer games. I spent much of yesterday afternoon playing "Football Manager", the 1982 ZX Spectrum game. Thanks to the brilliant "World Of Spectrum" website, you can play loads and loads of football games on your PC. No reviews here (I haven't got the time), but here's a list of them. Eighties-tastic.

Ah, Football Manager. My favourite from all those years ago!

I've just had a go at playing it online (thanks for the link) and it's lost none of its charm!!!
