Consequently we have average crowds that would rival Iceland's league.

We have a standard of play that is enough to get any gourment football watcher's mouth dribbling; Rhyl finished second with a glorified pub team full of bouncers.

Just think, all of this is a short train away!!The Jet Sethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09343684578356534031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10399764.post-60749650267088397462007-05-15T16:20:00.000+01:002007-05-15T16:20:00.000+01:00The Bundesliga, eh? You've been spending too much time with those Guardian-types haven't you.

Don't get me wrong, for an hilarious bit of knockabout fun you have to go a long way to beat Hun football. The sheer fact you can stand, drink beer and pay tuppence ha'penny to get in is a winner even before kick-off. The fact of the matter is that the League is still in recovery and the shaky quality does show as a result.

Thw whole question of what's the best league in the world is bogus anyway, what are we working on quality or entertainment - we all know that the two don't necessarily go hand in hand.

If we're looking at a balance of the two then it still comes down to the very boring though accurate summary that it's between La Liga and Serie A - simply because they're where all the world's best players play. La Liga has been a fantastic competition this year. Serie A was never going to be good this season but hopefully with everyone starting on zero next season it should be a different matter.Graham Sibleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00888599610761558508noreply@blogger.com
